Differences between penetration of bitumen 115/15 and bitumen 10/20

The main differ of bitumen is category of them. Bitumen 115/15 is oxidized grade but bitumen 10/20 is penetration grades. Bitumen 10/20 is useful for heavy traffic roads and bridge paving but bitumen 115/15 is not for such propose and since it is high softening point will break and has not flexibility on tension and taught.

Differences between softening point of bitumen 10/20 and bitumen 115/15

Bitumen 10/20 is a grade with penetration between 10 ~ 20 but softening points is approx. 62C while bitumen 115/15 is a grade with penetration between 10~15 with softening point approx. 115C!
So it is big differences between two grades and normally buyer make mistake on ordering.
Bitumen 10/20 is ductile but bitumen 115/15 is breakable with ductility of 1.5cm.

Normally bitumen 115/15 packed in 25Kg bag craft or plastic bag or box but bitumen 10/20 is in drum or jumbo bag or bag.
